Montana Food and Events (MFE) is Montana Group’s original corporate and private catering brand, trusted for over 20 years to deliver exceptional food and service with confidence and care.
Based in Waikato, MFE cater everything from conferences to large-scale events, with exclusive access to Claudelands Event Centre and FMG Stadium Waikato through a long-standing partnership with H3. Their reach extends through a network of top venues across Waikato, including Mystery Creek, Hamilton Gardens, Takapoto Estate, and now Rotorua, through partnership with Rotorua NZ.
Village delivers large scale public food and beverage services at major events. The team manages all aspects of event operations and has delivered successful outcomes at major events such as HSBC NZ Sevens, NZ Dart Masters, ITM Taupō Supercars 400 and ASB Classic Tennis, working closely with leading partners to deliver cohesive, high-quality event experiences.
In partnership with MFE and H3, Village is the preferred event operator at FMG Stadium Waikato and Claudelands Event Centre where they manage all retail outlets and oversee alcohol operations. At FMG Stadium, up to 25,000 guests are served during major matches, integrating retail concessions and corporate hospitality under one streamlined model.

Operating from purpose-built, state of the art commercial kitchens in Auckland, Urban partners with the city’s most iconic venues (Spark Arena, MOTAT, Auckland War Memorial Museum, Auckland Town Hall, Civic Theatre, The Cloud, Shed 10, Aotea Centre, Auckland Art Gallery, Viaduct Events Centre) and event professionals to bring everything from bespoke weddings to 1,500-guest galas to life.
A hidden gem in Auckland, Puketutu Island Estate is a premier event destination known for delivering exceptional experiences across a wide range of occasions.
The estate hosts up to 35 weddings each summer, alongside an impressive calendar of high-profile corporate events, private functions, and exclusive gatherings.
With a mix of versatile indoor and outdoor spaces, including the scenic Lawn, elegant Pavilion, and expansive Terrace, Puketutu provides tailored solutions for everything from large-scale conferences and gala dinners to intimate meetings and special occasions.
Montana Group has partnered with the University of Auckland since 2014. Operating from large-scale production kitchens to support a wide range of services including catering for internal university events, conferences, and external functions, which falls under the Flame Tree brand.
Catering services extend across the full spectrum of campus needs, from small faculty meetings and graduation celebrations to high-profile conferences and VIP dinners, with every event delivered to a consistently high standard of service and execution.
Kahurangi is the exclusive catering partner for the University of Waikato, established in 2015 as a joint initiative between Montana Group and the University.
The Kahurangi team manages all Halls of Residence dining, providing daily catering to over 700 students, and delivers food and beverage services for campus-wide events, functions and retail operations which include the popular Kahurangi Café and Kiosk, and The Canopy, a fully licensed restaurant and bar on the top floor of The Pā, which offers cabinet food and made-to-order meals.
Montana Group is a proud supplier to the Ministry of Education’s Ka Ora, Ka Ako Healthy School Lunches programme. Through our BiteLAB brand, we have the capacity to produce and deliver over 11,000 fresh and nutritious lunches every school day across Tāmaki Makaurau and Waikato.
This programme is supported by centralised production kitchens, strict food safety compliance, and a dedicated logistics network, enabling us to provide large-scale, nutrition-led meals for children at scale, consistently and reliably.
Acquired in December 2024, we are proud to lead the production of the iconic Maketū Pies.
Distributed through supermarkets, convenience stores, our own retail channels, and trusted partners, Maketū Pies expands our capabilities across the full production cycle, from recipe development to large-scale manufacturing and distribution.
